What is threading??
Threading hair is an ancient method commonly practiced in Eastern countries, like Egypt and India, but is becoming very popular here in the West. Threading removes the entire hair follicle, lasting up to 6 weeks. It works by using a cotton thread pulled along unwanted hair in a twisting motion, to trap hair in a mini lasso, lifting hair right out of the follicle. Threading is only offered for facial hair removal.
What is Sugaring??
Sugaring, sugar waxing, or Persian waxing is a method of hair removal that has been used for centuries. Sugaring uses an all natural paste (not grainy) with only sugar, water and lemon juice to remove the hair follicle from the root. Sugaring is often compared to standard waxing. During the process, a sugaring substrate sticks to and essentially removes hair without attaching to the skin. The substrate can be applied at room temperature or heated to a lukewarm temperature, minimizing the risk of burns. For this reason, sugaring is generally preferred over waxing when it comes to removing hair from larger areas of skin. Depending on your hair growth rate, results can last up to six weeks and sugaring requires only 1/4′ to 1/2′ of hair growth for removal.
